Five Signs You're Ready to say "Yes"!

Wedding dress shopping is one of the most magical parts of being a bride for many women, and it can be difficult for some to narrow down the differences between "like" and "love". Sometimes the dress you THINK you'll fall in love with is different from what you find you prefer on your body.

To avoid feeling overwhelmed by decision or overthinking about your favorite gown, try asking yourself these benchmark questions that demonstrate whether you are ready to say Yes to your Dress!

  1. Can I picture myself in this dress on my wedding day?

This includes walking down the aisle, pictures, your first dance, the cake cutting, and your exit at the end of the reception! Being able to picture your gown moving with you through your wedding day is a great sign that it is the right one for you!

2. Do I feel like myself?

Authenticity and confidence are two feelings that show through makeup, photos, and tears. If you feel comfortable and like the dress you're in is unique to your personality, it might have been made for you.

3. Does this make me feel emotional?

This doesn't have to mean tears and tissues... "emotional" means something different for everyone! Excitement, glee, tears, feeling a connection with your dress can all mean that the gown has made you emotional. Our goal when you find your gown is that you feel the same moment of awe and shock that you did when you became engaged.

4. Do I want to take this dress off?

If you find yourself lingering in a dress, petting the fabric, and walking or spinning around in a gown, this may mean you don't want to try others!

5. Am I ready to add accessories?

Being able to envision add-ons like a veil, sleeves, belt, capes, or bows means that the gown has hit the mark for being worth accessorizing and enhancing its natural beauty! If you are trying out different veils and sleeves all with the same dress, this is a sign!
